Roof Moss Removal in East Sussex

Over time roofs and their original protective cover will face gradual erosion by the elements. Erosion and weathering will make the roof tiles more porous which means they will absorb moisture. This will lead to the formation of moss.

Moss will multiply in damp conditions and on wet surfaces as the moisture allows moss spores to form within your roof tiles. North or West facing properties face this problem the most.

Not only does moss formation look an eyesore but it will also lead to other problems such as with your guttering and drains around the roof. These can get blocked with the continual wet conditions. With a consistently wet roof, you risk losing more heat which means you will use more fuel and also increase the likelihood of damp spreading in your home.
